This is must for any savvy shopper and most of us have the tools to make sure we are getting the best price. If you have a smart phone, there are free apps available that will search the internet and show you how much the item is at various online retailers.

- Apps like Quick Scan and Red Laser use your smart phone camera to scan the bar code providing you with prices for that item from online retailers.
- There are a lot of big retailers that will match online prices, so don't be shy to ask at the checkout. Be ready to show the online price.
