Every morning, our system chooses a random member from our active member list. Active members are defined as those who receive daily emails from Yay Savings. If you are the chosen member, you win. Each game only lasts 48 hours, once the game has ended, if the winning member does not claim their prize, the prize is forfeited and a new game begins. The bonus raffle works the same, however, the odds of winning are greater because the winner is drawn from a much smaller pool of only VIP members who play frequently.
The bonus VIP raffle is held daily at 9pm EST. The standard raffle pulls from our list of all active members, so someone who plays very frequently has the same chance of winning as a person who joined yesterday. We wanted a way to reward those faithful members and give them a higher chance of winning. The bonus VIP raffle pulls the winner from a much smaller pool of players, about 15% of the standard raffle.
You must be a member for at least 20 days. Then, simply play the standard raffle regularly. The system will detect that you are playing frequently and automatically invite you into the bonus VIP raffle.
When you click to play the daily game, the system will inform you that your member number matches the winning number, and that you have won. Also on this winning screen will be a validation code and an email address to send us the validation code. Simply email us the validation code and we will reply asking where to send your prize.
If you do not check your email within the 48 hours, you will forfeit the prize.
Prize values increase and decrease based on how many winners there are for a given week. Not all prizes are claimed by the winners. If more prizes for the past week go unclaimed, we will increase the value of the prize the next week. Requiring users to check within 48 hours rewards those who play more frequently.
To claim your prize, players must check to see if their number was drawn within 48 hours. Failing to do so results in unclaimed prize. The "Latest prize claimed, is just that... It's the last player to claim thier prize."
Winners are also listed in order of prizes being processed, if multiple raffle winners are processed in the same day, only the latest name will be displayed. There are 2 raffles per day, frequently multiple prizes will be processed every couple of days. In such a situation, not all winners will be displayed on the site.

No. We draw from a pool of members not numbers. The number is assigned to you upon signup and is simply used to identify a member, rather than name or email address which helps protect their privacy.
No. If you unsubscribe, or go “inactive” (do not visit the site in 30 days) are automatically removed from our active database. These people no longer participate and the pool gets smaller.
